As a third-generation Marin County native, Erik has an intimate knowledge of the market and all it has to offer. After graduating from Redwood High School, Erik earned a BS in Marketing and communications from U.C. Davis, ultimately embarking on a seventeen-year career as a Creative Director for agencies specialized in the branding and marketing of commercial real estate. His career moved him to Los Angeles, Boston, and New York where he worked on positioning assets for some of the largest real estate developers in the world.
In 2017 Erik decided to shift his focus to residential real estate. As the son of an architect and builder, it was only natural he joined his wife’s successful development company, managing construction projects and learning the nuances of residential home building.
Erik frequently helps clients identify and assess development opportunities, not only from a value standpoint but also with respect to the complex codes and regulations imposed by the cities and county of Marin. He also works with homeowners to identify potential pre-sale renovations that will help achieve the highest returns on property sales.
When he's not helping his wife wrangle their two sons, Erik can be found riding his bikes on the trails of Marin during the dry months and skiing snow-covered mountains in North America and beyond in the winter. Erik is an avid guitar and bass player of 30+ years and serves on both the Kentfield Schools Foundation and the Kent Woodlands Architectural Committee.
