Before becoming an agent, Erik spent fifteen years as a Creative Director in commercial real estate across Los Angeles, Boston, and New York — branding and marketing some of the world's most valuable assets for its largest institutional developers. The job was equal parts pitch and negotiation, spent across the table from C-suite executives who don't hand out trust easily. He earned it by being right about positioning, and by knowing how to structure a deal so both sides walk away wanting the next one.

As a developer alongside his wife, Erik works the other side of the equation: construction, financing, codes, and permits across Marin's towns, each with its own idea of what's allowed. That fluency makes him a rare kind of agent — one who can look at a property and see what it could become, not just what it's listed for. He consults regularly with clients on value plays, finding the upside that gets created rather than waiting decades for the market to deliver it.

When he's not helping his wife wrangle their two sons, Erik is on Marin's trails in the dry months and on a mountain somewhere in North America and beyond come winter. He's played guitar and bass for thirty-plus years, and serves on the Kentfield Schools Foundation and the Kent Woodlands Architectural Committee — which means he has read more design guidelines than any reasonable person should.
